Multi-Tasking: A Brain Divided Against Itself Cannot Function

Do not multitask. Multitasking does not make you more efficient; it makes you stupid. The mind is a very powerful machine but only when concentrated. Just like a computer’s processor slows down when it’s doing a million things at once so does your brain’s processor. Focusing your mind on one thing at a time can allow you to do that one thing very well and probably faster than usual. It goes along with Tip Number Three, blocking your time, in that specifically setting out your time to work on projects means that you’re not working on two, three, four projects at once. Find out how you're multitasking without even realizing it!

I couldn't agree with you more Ben. As our practices grow the demand for our time from clients continues to increase. That coupled with constant interruptions from staff makes it almost impossible to get anything done. That can result in catastrophe for your law practice!
