Why You Should Read Think and Grow Rich

I'll admit at first I was skeptical about Think and Grow Rich. The title made me feel a little uneasy. How ethical is it to get rich without doing anything? This book doesn't tell you to sit around and wait for money to fall in your lap, this book tells you to sit around and observe.

After reading this book I thought to myself, "What if I looked at successful business people and entrepreneurs outside of the legal world to see if I could find patterns of thought and behavior that made them successful and could be modeled to change my law practice? Is that possible?"

Years later, you're here on my Great Legal Marketing website, reading this article for help on marketing your law firm, and I can say yes. I changed my outlook on marketing my law firm, looked at it as a business, and found a happy formula for work and life.

The method of drawing ideas from other successful entrepreneurs and implementing them in your own law firm is the same basic idea I try to get across in my Great Legal Marketing seminars. We all yearn to be successful "like that guy" so we should be studying what it is they do to make themselves succeed.
