I have a few different ideas for law firm taglines. How do I know which one will work best for my law firm?

The simple answer is that you just don’t know which one is going to work best for your law firm marketing plan. That said, you can predict with reasonable certainty which law firm tagline or law firm taglines will work well for your law firm.

You can make this prediction by putting the effort into creating a great tagline. For example, you could work with your mastermind group, your focus group, your legal marketing consultant, your employees, your friends, and your relatives to identify what makes you, or your law firm, unique and how best to capture that in a legal marketing tagline. In fact, you should ask as many people as you can in as many areas of your life and professional practice as possible so you get lots of different opinions.

Law firm taglines are short. It can be hard to imagine that so much time and effort is needed to develop a simple phrase. However, like many things that appear natural and easy, law firm taglines require work.

Remember, you are not making a life time commitment to a tagline. If you try it and find that it doesn’t work, you can fix it. That said, it is important to put the work in initially so that you can develop the best tagline possible to further your attorney marketing efforts.
