Three Mistakes That are Easily Made and Best Avoided in Bankruptcy Lawyer Marketing
Internet marketing can be an effective way to market your bankruptcy law firm. However, all bankruptcy lawyer marketing websites are not the same. Some of your colleagues think that they are doing a good job. They think that they have a beautiful website that is designed to get them the clients they want for their bankruptcy practice. They are wrong.
Our legal marketing consultants want you to understand three common mistakes made by other lawyers so that you can avoid them on your own website and so that your website can be designed to get the results that you want.
Common Law Firm Website Mistakes That You Can Avoid
Some of the mistakes that you want to avoid include:
- Putting something meaningless at the top of the page. Think about the top third or half of website page. Like a newspaper, it should have content that grabs the reader’s attention. It should not be an ordinary picture of your city or firm logo.
- Talking too much about yourself. Your potential clients want to know how you are going to help them, not about your previous accomplishments.
- Paying attention only to your homepage and ignoring the headline, content and design of other website pages. Not all visitors are going to enter your site through your homepage. Thus, it is important for all of your website pages to appeal to a first time visitor.
As you were reading this list, one or more websites that have one or more of these features probably came to mind. The website that you thought of may even be that of a friend or colleague whom you respect. However, just because it is done does not mean that it is right or that it will produce good results for your law firm.
