Maintain the reader’s, or visitor’s, interest until he or she has taken some action (such as ordering a FREE book).
Automatically collect visitor information that goes into a database and can be used for future marketing.
Of course, there is no magic wand or easy way to make these four things happen. It requires a good strategy and hard work.
