Going through The Film Academy of Miroslav Ondricek, in Písek (FAMO), and the Northern Virginia Community College Cinema AFA programs were the perfect avenues for gaining a lot of film knowledge in a short amount of time.
Being on set in various parts of Virginia, Las Vegas, and in the Czech Republic set him on a course for a career in filmmaking. The fast-paced nature of a film set is something that Eugene is very comfortable in.
While looking to maximize his creative output, he saw a job ad on Indeed that felt like the perfect blend of learning, filming, and editing. Charley’s masterful inquiry, which emphasized a more down-to-earth cover letter, lured Eugene into something that truly changed his life.
Eugene is responsible for the various video products available to members, YouTube videos, producing live streams, directing, lighting, and editing the various commercials/interviews that go on during an event or for a focused creative project. He takes pride in every single video that he gets to do for Great Legal Marketing and looks to get better with each export.
He is most comfortable in the movie theater or browsing the various movies showcased on The Criterion Channel. The film library on the streaming service house the pieces of art that push him to experiment with lenses, camera sensors, and lights.
He also added a list of his favorite movies. Considering his proficiency in videography, we thought it was relevant to add.
Favorite movies: The King, Portrait of a Lady on Fire, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Wild Strawberries, Ran, Shame (1968), Goodfellas, Sorry to Bother You, The Report, Isle of Dogs, The Lighthouse, Blade Runner 2049, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (Extended Editions) and Mission Impossible (4-6).
