Lawyers fret over SEO, or search engine optimization, for their websites. Everyone wants to be seen and its getting harder and harder to get your attorney website on the first page of Google.
To make matters worse, every marketing vulture is spamming you with emails telling you about how they can "do SEO" better than anyone else.
Let me pass along a little tip from my Great Legal Marketing Mastermind group. This is a group of 25 solo and small firms who "get it." None are spending millions (or even hundreds of thousands) marketing their firms.
Here's one thing many have in common: they don't worry too much about SEO. They are too busy creating content to worry much about SEO.
Many in that group have brought their writing in-house. Heck, they have procedure manuals for their writers! They produce written content like no one else. One issues a press release a day and posts it to PRWeb.com.
Write as if you were writing to your avatar client. What would you say to that person to convince them to hire you?
Now, rinse and repeat.
