Who Is In Control – You or Your Clients?

One of the most important things that you can do as a business owner is take full control of every aspect of your business. This doesn't mean that you need to come in at 6 a.m. and stay until 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and micromanage every detail of your law firm just to stay on top of things. That to me is a sign of failure.

By following my proven successful marketing strategy for lawyers, you're taking the first step to freeing yourself from the long hours and other unnecessary demands that so many lawyers complain about with their firms

Another common complaint I hear from lawyers is that they're not wild about the quality of client that they have. You know whose fault I say that is? Theirs. No one says that you have to accept every client that comes your way. It is your business, your firm and your time, and you have the power to say "yes" or "no" to every potential client that inquires about your services.

If your jaw has dropped to the floor with the mere thought of turning away a potential client, I'll ask you to take an honest look at your client base and the types of cases you handle. If you use a successful legal marketing strategy, there's a chance that you couldn't be happier with your clients and cases. Congratulations, and keep up the good work!

But, if like many lawyers, you're not achieving the financial and professional goals that you originally had in mind, you need to learn how to find high-profile cases and clients that will help you to grow your business. Are you ready for some tough love that gets results? My book, Great Legal Marketing, cuts through the fluff and tells what you need to know to develop a marketing strategy that works.
