Why am I asking about your shoes?
Obviously, if you look down at your feet, I haven't stolen a thing.
But it certainly feels that way, because I'm certain I've walked many, many miles in your shoes.
I remember all the struggles of being a small law firm owner and the toll it took on me.
Even during what seemed like good months with lots of new clients, there was a panic slowly growing over making sure I could handle all those cases without being chained to my desk for the next two years. I never wanted to own the kind of law firm where I made a lot of money but lost out on the day-to-day enjoyment of life.
My wife and kids were and are the top priorities.
My mission (and frankly the reason I started my own practice in the first place) was to provide for the financial and emotional security of my family - and to get home every night in time for dinner. There is no "big case" I would want more than the time I have with those I love. But I walked a hard path to get to the place I am today.
You may not know it yet, but you're treading the same territory as me. Walking the same path.
Want Someone to Show You Where to Step Next?
There's an old proverb that says, "If you want to fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." I'll come back to that idea in a second, but first, I need to make a point...
Your financial future isn't built on one year of success.
Building wealth and equity in your life are about laying a rock-solid foundation and building on it brick-by-brick.
My own journey includes many false starts - washed away foundations, leaving me wondering what to do next. Eventually, however, I found the right place and the right materials on which to build what became the practice I love running today.
Now, back to the proverb...
The life of a law firm owner can be lonely. There are far more attorneys employed by others than there are attorneys like YOU (aka brave enough to start their own practice).
I'm inviting you to be part of a group going far TOGETHER.
Members of Great Legal Marketing benefit from the successes of the group, because they are regularly reported via our profession-leading journal, monthly members-only teleseminars, and direct access to GLM 's team of professionals. Every member can reach out to us with their specific questions about how to grow their law firm and get a personal response addressing their needs.
There is no place more intimately familiar with the challenges and opportunities facing YOU and YOUR PRACTICE, because my own law firm, BenGlassLaw, is the leading laboratory for the ideas you learn.
Walking the Path With You,
Founder and Owner of Great Legal Marketing and BenGlassLaw
