I'm getting lots of visitors to my personal injury law firm website, but I'm not getting lots of new clients. Is there something wrong with my law firm marketing strategy?

There may be something wrong with your attorney marketing plan if you are getting lots of visitors to your website but not getting the new clients you hoped you would. Many people who contact us with this problem are having trouble getting new clients because their back-end marketing strategy, or follow-up legal marketing, is not strong.

Generally, it takes prospective clients 4 -12 months from the time they visit your website to sign a fee agreement. During that time, many prospective clients are checking out other lawyers and/or deciding whether they need to hire a lawyer at all. It is critical that you continue to follow up with website visitors during this time by providing useful information that answers their two most important questions: Why do I need a lawyer? And why are you the lawyer I should hire? You will give potential clients the information they need to make a decision by proactively answering their questions and providing them with useful resources and information through your follow up marketing campaign.

This extra step can make a big difference in the effectiveness of your lawyer marketing plan and help you get the clients you seek.
