Should I Always be Readily Accessible to My Clients?

Someone in another field, and indeed some other attorneys, may tell you that it is important to take every phone call from every client and to be readily accessible to that clients do not become frustrated by lack of communication.

We do not believe this to be the case. Instead, we believe that effective time management for lawyers is critical. In our experience, clients are best served when we focus exclusively on whatever task is before us. Whether we are writing an opening statement, preparing interrogatories, or writing content for our legal marketing campaign, we believe that our clients are best served when we focus on the task at hand.

Part of our lawyer marketing strategy includes instructing our staff to schedule phone appointments with clients who need to speak with us. In that way, we can effectively prepare for the meeting, as can our client. This way, less time will be wasted.

Our goal is to run a law firm that we can be proud of and proves successful for our clients. To that end, our clients' interests are not always best served if we answer every call. Our alternative law firm time management techniques have proven effective.
