If I can impart one thing to you over everything I just discussed, it's this:
You were born with gifts and talents unique to your person. It's up to you how you choose to use these assets. Will you spend late nights in the office slaving over 100 tiny cases that bring in little revenue and cause big headaches? Or will you walk in the office every morning knowing you have 2 to 3 big cases with ideal clients you enjoy working with?
If someone were to follow you around for a week, would they see you wasting time on a million little tasks that don't amount to much, or would they see you spending your time wisely and getting more accomplished with larger projects? The lawyer with their priorities in line and time managed is going to come out as the more successful entrepreneur.
How Your Legal Marketing Comes Into Play
One of the biggest hurdles for a successful law practice is getting the client base and cases that generate a good reputation and revenue. How you go about getting these clients and cases is where your lawyer marketing comes in. Without a good legal marketing campaign, your ideal clients don't know how to find you, or that you even exist.
Rather than waste your time on spreading yourself thin with marketing strategies that are going the way of the dinosaur, focus on the restructuring and automation of your legal marketing campaign.
